The staff at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (I REFUSE to use their acronym… for obvious reasons) do an amazing job of matching reviewees with their desired reviewers.

The surprising part for me was the connections I made with the other reviewees. Spending 5+ minutes in a cramped hallway in the basement of the Slate Hotel, each of us burning off nervous energy with small talk and jokes about, well, nervous energy. You really get a chance to meet some lovely people in those circumstances.

For me - the opportunity to get feedback on my work from luminaries like Michael Kirchoff, Jehan Jillani, Jane Yeomans and Marijanna Rayl was an absolute goldmine.
